Emerson Bridge Campground

Notes about Emerson Bridge Campground

This is a lovely campground with camp hosts who take payments and sell wood. It is in a riparian setting by the Red Deer River. All sites are large and well-spaced, some are multi-unit campsites. The vegetation around the sites is dense, consisting mainly of sprawling cottonwoods and many sites are set in niches along the gravel roads. An overflow area contains additional unserviced sites. There is a central playing field with a sand volleyball court and lots of space for ad hoc sports. Pets are permitted on leash. The washrooms are spacious and the showers especially so. The camping season is from mid-May to early September. Potable water to fill RV tanks.
