Notes about Red Deer Lions Municipal Campground

Many large poplars and small deciduous shrubs shade some of the sites, some are open and unshaded. Roads are paved. Sites are quite varied, in terms of size and degree of seclusion. The power only campsites have 15 amp power. Each site has its own garbage can. Bathrooms are large, clean and passcoded. The play area by the Red Deer River is also passcoded, when you want to re-enter the campground from the river trail. You can fish at the river, small niches sometimes with benches are beside he river trail. Or you can float down the river in a raft.
