Notes about Johnson Lake State Recreation Area

PFDs for children are available at the boat launch. Vegetation is lush and most sites are open with a few tall tres. Lake sites tend to be smallish but there are larger and smaller sites available. Sites 1-19 are larger with better separation and there are double sites as well. There are eight overflow sites. Sites and roads are gravel. Maximum RV length is 35 feet.
