In Plumas National Forest. This is a pack in/pack out area. This campground is not suitable for big rigs, due to the bumpy gravel road and the lack of parking space at some of the sites. There are scenic mountain views, with volcanic rocks and mountain vegetation. It is at an elevation of close to 5,000 ft. The forest is largely broad leaf with heavy undergrowth. Fire pits are supplied.
Approximately 26 miles south east of Susanville on Highway 395 then turn southeast on County Road 336 and drive 4 miles.
