Crags Campground

Notes about Crags Campground

This is a dispersed camping area, without a central location. The toilets are located at Crags Devil's Playground Trailhead by the parking lot. There are pullover sites alongside the beautiful creek in a spruce and aspen forest. NF Road 383 is difficult, being narrow, winding, bumpy and washboardy and therefore suitable for small trailers only. Fire rings are provided but no tables. Views of hills with aspen and spruce are gorgeous in the fall. There is another trailhead--Raspberry Mountain, along the same forest road. Season is late May to late September. Elevation is 10,000 ft.
