Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park

Notes about Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park

Several carillon concerts of Stephen Foster tunes are played daily at this park. It is a beautiful campground with enormous trees, including live oaks with hanging Spanish moss. The playground is set among these trees, and is located right by the bathroom building. Roads are paved and the sites have packed gravel pads. These are large and well-separated with plentiful low vegetation. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. There are equestrian trails and a museum on site. Reservations are accepted.
