Notes about Reed Bingham State Park

There are many stately trees in this park, draped in Spanish moss. Lantern hook are at all sites which are level, surrounded by grass and situated on gravel pads. Fire rings and barbecues are available. The day use area is by the three boat launches. Bikes, canoes and kayaks are available for rent. The park also has a swimming beach.

About 5.5 mi. east of Ellenton, mainly on Ellenton Reed Bingham Road and highway 37. North of the highway, follow Evergreen Church Road and Reed Bingham State Park Road. Or, about 6.5 mi. west of Adel, via highway 37, turn on Evergreen Church Road and follow to Reed Bingham State Park Road a further 1.5 mi.
