Notes about Lake Claiborne State Park

Amphitheater. Nature center. Two camping loops. Park is surrounded by forest. Paved sites with lantern hooks. Some sites have small hill leading up to table and fire grill. Most sites in Loop Two back onto Lake Claiborne. Lots of ducks. Long term stays available. Concrete pads for fire rings. Pines and dogwoods. Some sites have a fire ring and a standing grill. Fishing dock in both camping loops. All sites are large, well spaced and surrounded by forest. Sandy beach. Closely knitted picnic area by beach with tall pines for shade with view across lake of dense forest.
