Tickfaw State Park

Notes about Tickfaw State Park

Sites are well-spaced, paved, with shrubs and often with a section of swamp at the back, with shade trees between them. Four of them are wheelchair accessible. The lawn is lush and well-trimmed. The tables are on wooden platforms which sometimes sit in the water. All sites have lantern hooks, firepits and barbecues, and the RV and tent loops are separate. The tent sites also have water and the pads are enclosed by wooden beams. Some of the pads are concrete. The woods are thick and luxuriant. Boardwalks lead through the swamp. There is a spray park at the day use area as well as canoe rentals. Reservations are accepted.
