Asessippi Provincial Park

Notes about Asessippi Provincial Park

The fishing is noteworthy here with northern pike, perch and walleye in the man-made Lake of the Prairies. Of 5 loops, the electrical sites in one of them are for seasonal camping, unserviced sites in this bay being open to public. There are individual shower suites. Although a few of the sites are in open parkland, most are large, well-separated and sheltered by trees. The concession is near the sizeable overflow area. There is a sandy beach with boardwalk access down from the campground. There is also mini golf, Yurts are available as well. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-September.
