Flin Flon Tourist Bureau

Notes about Flin Flon Tourist Bureau

A tourist bureau and a museum are on site, along with a large statue depicting the fictitious explorer whose name inspired Fliln Flon city's name. This is a very nice, well-organized and well-run campground with attractive rock outcroppings, thanks to the Canadian Shield. There are many trees and the sites are on a mixture of dirt and gravel with strips of grass. This surface works well given the frequent rains of the area. The bathrooms are spacious and kept very clean, and are wheelchair accessible. The camping area is open from June to September, during which time it appears to be very busy. Maximum RV length is 55 ft.
