Balsam Lake Provincial Park

Notes about Balsam Lake Provincial Park

There are two wheelchair accessible sites with power. The beach is large and sandy with watercraft rentals and PFDs and a designated swimming area. The unserviced sites in Poplar Plains loop are secluded although the undergrowth is patchy. Apple trees are included in the forest mix, also cedar and hardwoods. The sites are generally large and there are gravel roads in the unserviced zones. Roads are paved in the serviced loops, and the sites are a bit closer together, with shared power poles. Campground is open from early May to mid-October.
