Rideau River Provincial Park

Notes about Rideau River Provincial Park

The large unserviced sites are secluded in alcoves in a forest of tall trees consisting of white pine and maple for the most part. Where the pines dominate there is less undergrowth, but generally there is grass and undergrowth cover. The powered sites are some distance from the water and are closer together. There is a water-filling station with the sewage disposal and shower enclosures at the comfort stations. The day use beach has a picnic shelter with barbecues, a comfort station and a playground. There are two wheelchair accessible sites, with power and water. Powerboats are permitted on the river. Campground is open from early May to late September.
