The lovely park-like day use area features a gas barbecue in its picnic shelter. The beach is pebbly with sand dunes and does not have a designated swimming area. The danger of undertow exists on Lake Erie. There is a wheelchair accessible site which has power. The sites are reasonably large, in a mixed forest with a thick understorey. Unserviced sites are larger, more recessed and well-shaded. The pit toilets have handwashing sinks outside them. There are dog-walking paths. Power posts are shared among the electrical sites. There are also propane sales.
Approximately 8 km southeast of Dunnville on Regional Road 3, turn west on Niece Road then south on Downey Road.
