Besant Trans-Canada Campground

Notes about Besant Trans-Canada Campground

Sites are in a mixed forest, in grasslands region. Some campsites are fairly open, others well-shaded in a parklike area, with smooth lawns and big trees. There is a small natural swimming pool which fluctuates with the rainfall and has a small strip of sandy beach. Tents and barbecues are available for rent to large groups. Catering is also available. Mortlach is the site of the Saskatoonberry Festival in July each year. The campground is open from early May to mid-September.
