Notes about Sand Hollow State Park-Westside Campground

Set amid red sand hills with distant low mountains, this campground features ramadas which give shelter here where the vegetation is low-growing. Clumps of cedar and a yellow flower that grows like a carpet share space with creosote. There are individual shower rooms, in a flat adobe-style restroom building which is appropriate in the setting. Both firepits and grills are provided, along with the tables. Sites offering views of Sand Hollow Reservoir are available. Three wheelchair accessible sitese are available. Maximum RV length is 60 ft. Elevation is 3,000 ft.
