Emerald Lake State Park

Notes about Emerald Lake State Park

Thirty-four of the sites are lean-tos which are wooden sructures providing shelter for sleeping bags and space for sitting. Nineteen of these are found in loop A, along with the six prime campsites. The remainder are in loop B. There is a third loop and all three loops are well-separated and and criss-crossed with hiking trails. The day use area has rowboat and pedal boat rentals and a basketball hoop, with grassy lawns surrounding it. There is a small beach on the lake with an island in the midst of it. There is a paved entry road with many brooks and small waterfalls along it.
