Chaplin, Saskatchewan

a number of campgrounds are available in the region surrounding Chapman.

As exemplified by its striking giant model of an American avocet, the town of Chaplin is a source of great interest for birders, boasting many species which use it as a safe environment stop-over en route to the arctic, thanks to nearby Lake Chaplin, Canada’s largest saline body of water. The interpretive centre features displays and gives daily summer tours providing information about shorebirds, wildlife, conservation, local industries and agriculture. In addition, there are 4 golf courses within a 40 km radius of the town.
