Interesting and surprisingly progressive, this small town (pop. under 500), has been home to at least 5 NHL players. The Trails End Guest Ranch and the Three Rivers Trail Association have grown up because of the grasslands eco-system that surrounds the town, as well as a nearby river system. Craik is also part of a small collection of Saskatchewan towns that are on the forefront of the environmental movement, with the Craik Sustainable Living Project. The town motto: The friendliest town by a dam site!
